"How is your missionary son?" is an appropriate question to ask any member of the Fresno California North Stake presidency. Each of the presidency, plus the executive secretary, has a son serving a full-time mission.
Elder Stephen Christensen, son of stake president Stephen L. Christensen, has recently been called to the Honduras Tegucigalpa Mission; Elder David Flake, son of first counselor Dennis D. Flake, is serving in Canada Calgary; Elder Brett Wells, son of second counselor G. mark Wells, is in Spain Seville; and Elder Richard Ashcraft, son of executive secretary Larry Ashcraft, is in the Texas Dallas Mission.
