Thousands of cards and letters expressing holiday wishes to members of the First Presidency have been received, flowing steadily into Church headquarters throughout the Christmas season.
Far too much mail was received for the Brethren to respond to each sender personally, but they asked the Church News to express their appreciation for the cards and letters.President and Sister Ezra Taft Benson, in particular, have been well remembered with holiday greetings. They have enjoyed seeing the cards and reading the thoughtful messages from Church members.
Many groups of Young Men, Young Women and Primary children indicated in their greetings that they had met the prophet's challenge to read and study the Book of Mormon.
