When Elder Robert Kesler entered the Florida Tampa Mission in May 1987, the ward to which he had been assigned sent his picture and "fact sheet" to a local newspaper, where it was published.
About three months later, Elder Kesler and his companion were riding bicycles when a car stopped, and the driver handed them a piece of paper with his phone number on it. "Please call me," the man said. Later, the elders learned this man had seen Elder Kesler's story in the newspaper and had been trying to contact him. He saw the missionaries and recognized Elder Kesler. The man is now studying about the Church.
