Boyad M. Tanner, called as president of the soon-to-be-completed Las Vegas Nevada Temple, is a retired insurance agent and co-owner and operator of a chain of fast food restaurants. His wife, Bette Mortensen Tanner, will be temple matron. Pres. Tanner currently serves as a regional representative and is a former stake president, high councilor, and ordinance worker in the St. George Temple. He also filled a mission to Ontario, Canada. He and his wife are members of the Hazelcrest Ward, Las Vegas Nevada Paradise Stake. Sister Tanner is education counselor in the stake Relief Society presidency and is an ordinance worker in the St. George Temple. Parents of three children.
