Don't foul out of real life, Elder Russell C. Taylor cautioned young men of the Aaronic Priesthood in his priesthood session address Saturday evening.
Ball games "are a great deal like life, where you want to do your best, to be committed, to be a team player. You want to make points," emphasized Elder Taylor, who earlier that day had been sustained a member of the newly organized Second Quorum of the Seventy."Our rules are the commandments of God. You make points when you serve your mission, draw close to the Lord, live the Word of Wisdom, stay morally clean, and live a life of service and Church activity."
He outlined the points needed "to win this most important game of all."
Included in these points are preparing for and serving a mission, drawing close to the Lord, living the Word of Wisdom, staying morally clean and living a life of Church activity.
