Jana Kunz, Laurel president in the Edgemont 8th Ward here, recently represented Timpview High School as 23 U.S. high schools were honored by President George Bush for their drug-prevention programs. At a ceremony in the White House, President Bush presented awards to Jana and other representatives to take back to their schools. Timpview's programs include a drug-free week that focused on education and abuse prevention, a drug-free dance and an assembly where students pledged to remain drug-free.
