The callings of six more mission presidents have been announced by the First Presidency. They, along with their wives, will assume their responsibilities about July 1. Following are the newly called presidents:
James J. Eardley, 44, St. George 9th Ward, St. George Utah East Stake; assigned to the Oregon Portland Mission; teacher's quorum adviser, former stake president, bishop and counselor; owner of travel company; studied at Dixie College; born in Salt Lake City, Utah, a son of Paul Pixton and Jane Callahan Eardley; married Claudia Joy Whitney; seven children. She is a stake Primary president's secretary, former Primary president's counselor and teacher, Cub Scout teacher, and Sunday School teacher; born in St. George, Utah, a daughter of Leonard Eugene and Lula Tobler Whitney.
