The callings of six more mission presidents have been announced by the First Presidency. They, along with their wives, will assume their responsibilities about July 1. Following are the newly called presidents:
L.D. Covington, 47, Kaysville 2nd Ward, Kaysville Utah Stake; assigned to the Brazil Curitiba Mission; stake president's counselor, former bishop and counselor, Young Men president, Sunday School president, Scoutmaster, and priests quorum adviser; served a mission in Brazil, 1962-64; special education teacher; received bachelor's degree from BYU and did graduate work at the University of Utah; born in Twin Falls, Idaho, a son of John Junius and Dorcus Harding Covington; married Norda Jeanne Dexter; three children. She is a Young Women president's counselor, former Primary president and counselor, Relief Society president's counselor and secretary, Relief Society teacher, and activities committee member; born in Port Hueneme, Calif., a daughter of Alfred and Laura Vance Dexter.
