The complete audio recording of the Old Testament has been completed and is now available at Church distribution centers.
The completion of the recording coincides with the 1990 Sunday School gospel doctrine course of study, which is the Old Testament."Obviously, these tapes are not a substitute for scripture reading, they are a supplement," observed Wayne Lynn, adviser to Church Curriculum Development and one of the individuals who worked on the project.
"There are opportunities to use these tapes every day," Lynn observed. "There are members who can listen to the tapes while driving in the car, or while doing work around the home."
The Old Testament set comes in two volumes of 24 cassettes each and is packaged similar to the other standard works. Cost for the set (VVOT2138) is $47.50.
