- Hymns at the Saturday evening priesthood session reflected both joyous praise and quiet contemplation, while sermons contained timely counsel specifically for Aaronic and Melchizedek Priesthood holders.

A combined men's choir comprised of singers from the Ephraim, Orem, Salt Lake, Salt Lake Community College, Ogden and Logan institutes of religion, performed, "Be Still My Soul," "Praise the Lord with Heart and Voice" and "Beautiful Savior (Crusader's Hymn)." The congregation joined the choir in singing "High on the Mountain Top."Elder Gene R. Cook of the Seventy offered the invocation, and Elder Monte J. Brough, also of the Seventy, gave the benediction.
