A new stake has been created in Monterrey, Mexico.

Elder Robert E. Wells of the Seventy created the Monterrey Mexico Los Angeles Stake, which includes 2,534 members in the Cadereyta, Los Angeles, Quince de Mayo, Tacubaya and Tres Caminos wards, and the Tamaulipas Branch.Elsewhere, stakes have been reorganized in Coatzacoalcos and Monterrey, Mexico; Ogden, Utah; and Sapporo, Japan.

OGDEN UTAH CANYON VIEW STAKE: (July 29, 1990) President - Claire J Fisher, 61, retired teacher and principal, succeeding Dorman H. Baird; former high councilor, stake Young Men president, bishop, and branch president, married Iliene Lucile Myers. Counselors - Therald Philip Quayle, 57, educator, former high councilor, bishop, and elders quorum president, married Elizabeth Johnson; Donald B. Koldewyn, 50, associate director at state office of family support, former high councilor, stake mission president's counselor, bishop and counselor, married Becky Welling.
