Air Force Capt. Michael J. Stacy, appointed chaplain at Carswell Air Force Base in Ft. Worth, Texas, representing the Church as well as the entire Protestant community at the base; transferred from K.I. Sawyer AFB, where he served four years as a transportation officer; recipient of Air Force achievement medal, outstanding unit award, oak leaf cluster and small arms qualification with bronze star; earned master's degree in guidance and counseling from Northern Michigan University, bachelor's degree in anthropology and archaeology from BYU; served in Tahiti Papeete Mission; married Kaylynn Van Wagenen; parents of one daughter.
