An 1877 edition of a Koralbog (chorale book) from Norway was recently given to the Tabernacle Choir. Ase Holth, a Church member from Ottestad, Norway, presented the music book to choir and Church Music Division officials. Sister Holth was representing the Hamar Folkebibliotek, a library in Hamar, Norway. "We are very grateful to have this volume as part of our resource," choir Director Jerold D. Ottley wrote in a letter to Astrid Hagen of the library's music department. "As the performances of the Salt Lake Mormon Tabernacle Choir become more available in Scandinavia, this volume will guide us in our development of programs."
