Assignment changes of two previously called mission presidents and the calling of a new mission president has been announced by the First Presidency.

Also being published this week is the biography of Vincenzo Conforte, whose calling to the Italy Padova Mission was announced earlier.Pres. Gary L. Browning, originally assigned to the Finland Helsinki Mission, will become president of the new Finland Helsinki East Mission. J. Lewis Taylor, originally assigned to the Tacoma Washington Mission, will become president of the Helsinki Finland Mission.

Sidney Richard Henderson, 43, assigned to the Washington Tacoma Mission; stake president, former bishop and counselor, branch president, Scoutmaster, and Young Men president; served a mission in Eastern States (Spanish speaking), 1966-68; contracts supervisor for oil company; earned bachelor's degree from BYU; born in Pocatello, Idaho, a son of Sidney Benson and Donale Cotant Henderson; married Joyce Giles; seven children. She is stake Relief Society president, former stake Primary president, ward Young Women president and counselor, Primary president and teacher; born in Heber, Utah, a daughter of Sherman Alexander and Kay Burch Giles.

Vincenzo Conforte, 51, assigned to the Italy Padova Mission; Foggia Branch in the Italy Catania Mission; elders quorum president, former district president and branch president; served as president of the Italy Catania Mission, 1986-89; retired; studied accounting for three years; born in Carpino, Italy, a son of Michele and Anna Maria Russi Conforte; married Carolina Cuozzo; four children. She is branch Relief Society president, former district Relief Society president and Young Women president; served with husband in Italy Catania Mission, 1986-89; born in San Severo, Italy, a daughter of Giovanni and Filomena Chusano Cuozzo.
