New director announced for Cumorah Pageant

Dr. Gerald Argetsinger, associate general education professor at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf and a member of the Rochester (N.Y.) 2nd Ward, has been named new Hill Cumorah Pageant director.

Argetsinger will direct 600 amateur, volunteer actors from throughout the United States in "America's Witness for Christ." With the help of five associate directors, he will also oversee designers, artistic contributors, costume designers, choreographers, and technical crew.For the past three years, Argetsinger has been associate producer of the pageant, and has also served as associate director. He earned a bachelor's degree in theater from BYU, and received his master's and doctorate degrees from Bowling Green State University.
