Franklin Nelson Davis, 65, assigned to the Ohio Cleveland Mission; Union 12th Ward, Sandy Utah Cottonwood Creek Stake; former high councilor, bishop and counselor, and high priests group leader; served a mission in Australia, 1946-48; earned bachelor's degree from Purdue University and did graduate work at the University of Utah; born in Salt Lake City, Utah, a son of Franklin Saville and Emma Caroline Nelson Davis; married Nadine Seare; three children. She is Relief Society compassionate service leader, former Young Women president, Relief Society president's counselor, and Laurel adviser; born in Salt Lake City, Utah, a daughter of Lester Arthur and Rachel Ivins McKean Seare.
