President Howard W. Hunter of the Council of the Twelve was released from LDS Hospital Dec. 5 after being treated for pneumonia.
President Hunter, 83, was hospitalized Dec. 1 for the illness. He was released after his condition was upgraded from fair to good.President Hunter served as acting president of the Council of the Twelve from 1985-1988, and has been president of the Council of the Twelve since 1988. He was called as an apostle in 1959.
