Two new stakes have been created - one in Farmington, Utah, and the other in Tijuana, Mexico.
The Farmington Utah Oakridge Stake was created by Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin of the Council of the Twelve. The new stake includes 2,545 members in the Farmington 7th, 12th, 16th, 17th, 22nd, and 23rd wards.Elder Horacio A. Tenorio of the Seventy created the Tijuana Mexico Ensenada Stake which includes the Alisos, Bahia, Centro, Chapultepec, and Tecate wards, and the Azteca Branch.
Elsewhere, stakes have been reorganized in Bountiful and Farmington, Utah; Fairbanks, Alaska; and Fredericksburg, Va.

TIJUANA MEXICO ENSENADA STAKE: (June 24, 1990) Created from the Tijuana Mexico and Tijuana Mexico La Mesa stakes. President - Jose Pedroza A., 45, businessman, former high councilor, bishop, and branch president's counselor, married Cristina Padilla Lozano. Counselors - Florencio Lozada Sanchez, 38, government employee, former high councilor, bishop's counselor, elders quorum president, and Sunday School teacher, married Marcelina Haros Lopez; Arturo A. Cabrera, 25, salesman, former ward executive secretary, elders quorum president and counselor, married Amador Trejo Maria Guadalupe.
