Expressions of love have come from throughout the world to President and Sister Ezra Taft Benson for Valentine's Day.
While many cards were signed by families, numerous others were made and sent by Primary children, either on their own or as part of a class.Valentine's Day has always been a favorite occasion for President and Sister Benson. Over the years, President Benson has traditionally given his wife candy and flowers to mark the occasion. One of their favorite songs is "Let Me Call You Sweetheart," which they've sung together often.
President and Sister Benson enjoyed looking at the many cards and other expressions of love sent to them this year.
In recent weeks, President Benson has attended the First Presidency meeting on Wednesday mornings and the meeting of the First Presidency and the Council of the Twelve held in the temple on Thursdays. He also attended the last monthly scheduled meeting in the temple for all General Authorities.
