Lambda Delta Sigma, the Church sorority, and Sigma Gamma Chi, the Church fraternity, have announced the recipients of the annual Delta Phi Kappa scholarships.

Ten students - representing campuses from throughout the country - were selected from 224 applications submitted by members of the sorority and fraternity. The Delta Phi Kappa Holding Corporation awards $8,000 through the scholarship program, now in its 14th year.The Lambda Delta Sigma scholarships include:

Mich'l Archibald, University of Utah, Leah D. Widtsoe Scholarship; Jenilyn Critchlow, Weber State University, Elva Cowley Woman of the Year Scholarship; Jennifer Moss, Idaho State University, senior scholarship; Laura Ward, Utah State University, junior scholarship; and Joy Flores, University of Texas, El Paso, sophomore scholarship.

The Sigma Gamma Chi scholarships are:

Steven Leon Burrows, Oklahoma State University, John A. Widtsoe Memorial Scholarship; Dane J. Dickson, University of Utah, Matthew Cowley Man of the Year Scholarship; Brent D. S. Leong, BYU-Hawaii, senior scholarship; Daren Vernon Gates, Dixie College, junior scholarship; Arthur D. Roberson, Ricks College, sophomore scholarship.
