The 20th annual Sidney B. Sperry Symposium, scheduled at BYU Oct. 26, will focus on the theme "Doctrines of the Book of Mormon."

Elder Robert E. Wells of the Seventy will give the keynote address at 9 a.m. in the Joseph Smith Building Auditorium.The day-long, admission-free symposium will feature speakers from the Church Educational System, LDS institutes and BYU faculty. The symposium is open to the university community and general public.

The symposium will cover topics such as the gift of charity, the quest for humility, the great and last sacrifice, and prophecies of the last days.

The symposium is named in honor of Sidney B. Sperry, a scholar and author in religious education at BYU.
