The Apia Samoa Temple received only slight damage from Hurricane Val, according to reports from Western Samoa.

Winds of the hurricane caused a leak in the roof above the foyer, and the temple sustained some water damage in that area. However, the well-constructed edifice withstood the hurricane well.
