      - Hushed during moments of poignancy or chuckling at expressions of humor, the congregation in the Tabernacle paid rapt attention during the priesthood session Saturday evening. They were treated to a variety of spiritual themes, from the masterful discourses by President Gordon B. Hinckley and President Thomas S. Monson, to Bible stories retold by Elder Dallin H. Oaks and powerful sermons by members of the Seventy.

Elder Robert K. Dellenbach of the Seventy offered the invocation, and Elder Charles Didier of the Presidency of the Seventy offered the benediction. The men of the Tabernacle Choir and Mormon Youth Chorus combined to perform such numbers as "See the Mighty Priesthood Gathered," "I Need Thee Every Hour," and "How Great the Wisdom and the Love," under the direction of Jerold Ottley and Robert Bowden. Accompanying on the Tabernacle organ was Richard Elliott.
