Elder Vaughn J Featherstone of the Seventy created the Iligan Philippines Stake, which includes the Camague, Iligan Central, Initao, Rabago, and Tambo wards, and the Kolambugan, Manticao, Maranding, Tubod, and Tubod Capital branches.
The Mississauga Ontario Stake, which includes the Etobicoke, La Esperanza, Lehi, Mississauga, Oakville, and Toronto 1st wards, and the La Esperanza Branch was created by Elder Rex D. Pinegar of the Presidency of the Seventy.Elder Merlin R. Lybbert of the Seventy has created the Prince George British Columbia Stake, which includes the Blue Mountain, Fraser, Nechako, Quesnel, and Vanderhoof wards, and the Bella Coola, Burns Lake, Horsefly, Mackenzie, One Hundred Mile House, and Williams Lake branches.
Elsewhere, stakes were reorganized in Canada, Denmark, France and the Philippines, and in Idaho, Iowa, New York, Ohio, Texas, and Utah.

MISSISSAUGA ONTARIO STAKE: (Oct. 18, 1992) Created from the Toronto Ontario and Hamilton Ontario stakes. President - Lawrence R. Fuller, 39, president and chief executive officer of insurance company, former mission president's counselor, regional representative's executive secretary, stake president's counselor, high councilor, bishop and counselor, married Debra Anne Avison.
