BYU football fans dug into their pockets at a recent game to donate more than $20,000 to the United Way/Red Cross Relief Fund for victims of Hurricane Andrew, which hit Florida and Louisiana last month.
Volunteers from BYU's student association (BYUSA), United Way and Red Cross collected donations before, during and after the Sept. 10 game against San Diego State University. BYUSA and the BYU Athletic Department sponsored the event.
