Elder Cree-L Kofford of the Seventy created the Pima Arizona Stake, which includes the Central, College, Fort Thomas, Pima 1st, Pima 2nd, and Pima 3rd wards.

Elder Loren C. Dunn of the Seventy created the Salt Lake Monument Park North Stake, which includes the Monument Park 1st, Monument Park 2nd, Monument Park 12th, Monument Park 16th, Monument Park 17th, and Monument Park 20th wards.Elder Horacio Tenorio of the Seventy created the Toluca Mexico Stake, which includes the Centro, Tollocan, Toluca, and Toluca 2nd wards, and the Atenco, Atlatlahuca, and Toluca 3rd branches.

Elsewhere, stakes were reorganized in Brazil, Ecuador, and Mexico.

President - Stephen Lavar John, 50, elementary school principal, former stake president, high councilor, bishop and counselor, ward clerk, ward executive secretary, and teachers quorum adviser, married Joyce Kay Peterson. Counselors - Ross Seth Bryce, 61, farm and ranch manager, former high councilor, stake Young Men board member, bishop and counselor, high priests group leader, and Sunday School president, married Melva Fawn Smith; Mark Smith Bryce, 36, attorney, former high councilor, elders quorum president, and gospel doctrine teacher, married Cynthia Joan Nielsen.

SALT LAKE MONUMENT PARK NORTH STAKE: (Nov. 24, 1991) Created from the Salt Lake Monument Park and Salt Lake Bonneville stakes. President - B. Lloyd Poelman, 57, attorney, former counselor in general Sunday School presidency, Sunday School general board member, mission president, stake president, high councilor, bishop, and gospel doctrine teacher, married Catherine Edwards. Counselors - Bruce F. Sorensen, 60, neurosurgeon, former stake president's counselor, high councilor, stake Sunday School president's counselor, bishop and counselor, and elders quorum president, married Suzanne Kirkham Burbidge; H. Roger Boyer, 51, chairman of real estate development company, former stake president's counselor, high councilor, bishop and counselor, married Sara Stohl.

TOLUCA MEXICO STAKE: (Nov. 17, 1991) Created from the Mexico City Mexico Chapultepec Stake. President - Gilberto Lopez D'Antin, 55, engineering and science division director, former bishop and counselor, branch president's counselor, elders quorum president, and institute teacher, married Yolanda Contreras Zaizar. Counselors - Jorge Alberto Garcia Licona, 36, production controller for automobile company, former stake president's counselor, branch president's counselor, branch secretary, and elders quorum president, married Amparo Soto; Ramon Amador Galinanes, 36, project general manager for construction company, former region executive secretary, stake president's counselor, stake executive secretary, high councilor, and branch president, married Adriana Tabares Ramirez.
