The First Presidency has announced the call of another mission president. The new president and his wife began their service in January in the Peru Lima North Mission.
Juan A. Uceda Andrade, 38, Las Brisas Ward, Lima Peru Magdalena Stake; former stake president and counselor, high councilor, bishop, and ward clerk; served in Peru Lima South Mission, 1975-77; Church Educational System area director; received bachelor's degree in accounting from Superior Institute of Jose C. Mareategui; born in Lima, Peru, a son of Juan Jose and Ines A. Uceda; married Maria Isabel Bendezu, four children. She is a former stake Relief Society president's counselor, ward Primary president and teacher, Young Women president, and Relief Society teacher; received professional degree from Brown Academy; born in Santiago, Chile, a daughter of Jorge and Olga Yolanda Bendezu.
