Mario V. Vaira, 68, Como Branch, Milan Italy Stake, called as president of the Swiss Temple, succeeding Pres. Louis E. Ringger. Pres. Vaira's wife, Rosa F. Casazza Vaira, will serve as temple matron. Pres. Vaira is a former president of the Italy Catania Mission, stake president, mission president's counselor and district president. The retired owner of a computer company, he attended Liceo College in Italy. He was born in Genoa, Italy, to Giovanni and Zelinda Casati Vaira. Sister Vaira is a former stake and district Relief Society president, counselor in a stake Primary presidency, and institute and seminary teacher. She was born in Genoa, Italy, to Angelo Vincenzo and Maria Caterina Callero Casazza.
