President Ezra Taft Benson has been released from the hospital and is convalescing at home following his recent bout with pneumonia.
President Benson was hospitalized Dec. 31 and remained in the hospital until Jan. 8.During his 9-day hospital stay, he responded well to treatment.
The 93-year-old leader, who has served as Church president since 1985, continues to progress, said Bruce L. Olsen, director of the Church's Public Affairs Department.
