Although it has not been dedicated yet, the Bountiful Utah Temple has already earned a distinction from its host city as one of its most beautiful landmarks.
Each year, the Bountiful City Council gives awards for beauty to business and residential locations. Recipients are selected from nominations by citizens. The new temple was recognized as being the city's most beautiful building. To mark the award, Pres. Harold Yancey of the temple received a plaque Dec. 7 at the city council chambers from Bountiful Mayor John Cushing.
