- The Primary children's choir of the Kaysville Utah Region set an example of reverence as they sat quietly in their seats before the Saturday afternoon session began.

President Gordon B. Hinckley conducted the session. The choir, under the direction of Vanya Watkins, opened with "Because God Loves Me" and "Thank Thee for Everything" and closed with "Jesus Once Was a Little Child" and "I Think When I Read That Sweet Story." The invocation and benediction were given by Elders Spencer J. Condie and Gary J. Coleman, respectively, both of the Seventy.
