More than 1 million tickets have been issued to visitors of the Bountiful Utah Temple open house, according to Blaine P. Jensen, vice chairman of the temple committee.

He said that some 500,000 visitors have toured the temple since it opened Nov. 4. The temple open house will continue until Dec. 17, and is open to visitors from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. The temple is closed all day on Sundays, and after 6 p.m. on Mondays. The complimentary tickets, which are required in order to coordinate the visits and reduce the lines, are still available and can be obtained by calling (801) 299-4222 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.

Leaders suggest that visitors arrive 15 to 20 minutes early in case of heavy traffic. To avoid creating long delays and causing an inconvenience to others, ticket holders should come only at their scheduled times.
