A new stake, the Nuku`alofa Tonga Halaliku Stake, has been created by Elder Lowell D. Wood of the Seventy. The new stake includes the Fatumu, Fua`Amotu 1st and 2nd, Hamula, Mu`a 1st, and Nakolo wards, and the Alaki and Lavengatonga branches.

Elsewhere, stakes have been reorganized in Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, England, Japan, Philippines, South Africa and Tonga, and in Nevada.

NUKU`ALOFA TONGA HALALIKU STAKE: (Aug. 4, 1995) Created from the Nuku`alofa Tonga Vaini and Nuku`alofa Tonga East stakes. President - Sitaleki Tonga Faeamani, 44, distribution and purchasing supervisor for Church Area Office, former stake president's counselor, stake executive secretary, and bishop's counselor, married Elisa Faiana Tongi.
