Frequently,as a stake president, Dale E. Evanson gets promptings on issues he should focus on in the stake. And when this happens, he said, the "Viewpoint" on the last page of the Church News "seems to be right on track on what I need to emphasize.

"I use the `Viewpoint' page in talks a lot. I really enjoy it," Pres. Evanson of the Taber Alberta Stake continued. In speaking of his family using the "Viewpoint," he added, "That's the one part that we most often file for future reference."In addition, Pres. Evanson said the "Mormon Forum" is valuable in his calling. "It gives me ideas on how to counsel people. It's always really practical. It just seems like it's down to earth, and you can apply it to life."

Speaking of the value of the Church News in general, he added: "It's enjoyable to read every week. It gives you a flavor of what the Church is doing and where it's going throughout the world."
