President Gordon B. Hinckley and his counselors in the First Presidency, President Thomas S. Monson and President James E. Faust, wish to convey their appreciation for the many cards, letters, and other Christmas greetings they have received from members throughout the Church.
Because of the great number of Christmas messages received, it is not possible for the members of the First Presidency to respond to each greeting personally. The members of the First Presidency also extend to members and friends their warm wishes for the new year, and gratitude for their faith and prayers.
