Six new mission presidents have been called by the First Presidency. The mission presidents and their wives will begin their service about July 1. The new mission presidents and where they will serve are:
Angus H. Belliston, 62, Australia Brisbane Mission; Pleasant View 4th Ward, Provo Utah Edgemont South Stake; branch president's counselor at Provo Missionary Training Center; former regional representative, stake president and counselor, bishop, and Scoutmaster; bank senior vice president; received master's degree in banking and finance from the University of Utah; born in Nephi, Utah, to Albert Henry and Elsie Elizabeth Maughan Belliston; married Ruth Eleanor (Jenny) Jones, 11 children. She is a former stake Relief Society president, stake Young Women president's counselor, Relief Society president, Young Women president, Primary president, and Sunday School teacher; received degree in dental hygiene from the University of Oregon Dental School; born in Nephi, Utah, to Preston Lunt and Helen Chloe Bailey Jones.Pedrito T. Miole, 43, Philippines Ilagan Mission; Davao 1st Ward, Davao Philippines Stake; regional representative; former stake president, stake Sunday School president, bishop, elders quorum president, and missionary in the Philippines Davao Mission; institute director; received degree from Colegio de San Jose-Recoletos; born in Cebu City, Philippines, to Pedro Morales and Eleuteria Gildo Tolibas Miole; married Marifil Tuanda, six children. She is Young Women president; former stake Primary president, stake Young Women president, and Primary president; attended Cor Jesu College; born in Digos, Davao del Sur, Philippines, to Luis Estoque and Flordeliz Paraz Tuanda.
J. Ricardo Perez, 37, Honduras San Pedro Sula Mission; Quetzaltenango 6th Ward, Quetzaltenango Guatemala West Stake; bishop; former mission president's counselor, stake executive secretary, high councilor, institute teacher, seminary teacher, and missionary in the El Salvador Mission; partner in a car dealership; attended Rafael Landivar University; born in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, to Ricardo and Ignacia Citalan Perez; married Norma Aida Signor, one child. She is Young Women president; former stake Relief Society president, Relief Society president and teacher, and seminary teacher; received master's degree in teaching from Normal Women's Institute and attended Rafael Landivar University; born in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, to Jose Ismael and Elia Aida de Leon Signor.
Paul R. Sampson, 53, Canada Toronto West Mission; Nibley 1st Ward, Hyrum Utah North Stake; stake sports director; former stake president and counselor, bishop and counselor, high priests group leader, Young Men president, and elders quorum president; director of facilities for Utah State University; received associate degree from Foothill College and bachelor's degree in business, marketing and finance from San Jose State University; born in Ogden, Utah, to Eliot Thatcher and Rose Elaine Revell Sampson; married Cheryl Dean Ellis, four children. She is a stake family history specialist; former secretary to stake mission presidency, Young Women adviser, Relief Society president's counselor and teacher, and ward organist; attended Weber State University; born in Ogden, Utah, to Frank Edson and Lucy Teuscher Ellis.
Earl S. Swain, 46, Korea Seoul West Mission; Valley Park 4th Ward, Taylorsville Utah Valley Park Stake; Young Men president; former high counselor, stake Sunday School president, bishop and counselor, executive secretary, Sunday School teacher, and missionary in the Korean Mission; Church Educational System instructor; received bachelor's degree in family relations and master's degree in educational psychology from BYU; born in Mesa, Ariz., to Robert Stanley and Felice Kartchner Swain; married Kathy LaRayne Blackmun, five children. She is a Sunday School teacher and family history name extractor; former stake Young Women president's counselor, Relief Society president and counselor, Relief Society compassionate service leader and teacher, Young Women adviser, and Primary teacher; attended BYU; born in Long Beach, Calif., to Eugene Charles and Vivian Jane Burnside Blackmun.
Willy F. Zuzunaga, 41, Peru Arequipa Mission; El Trebol Ward, Lima Peru El Olivar Stake; regional representative; former stake president, stake mission president, branch president, Young Men president, seminary teacher, ward mission leader, and missionary in the Lima Peru North Mission; logistics manager; received engineering degree from National Agricultural University; born in Lima, Peru, to Ulises Rojas and Estela Palomino Cavero Zuzunaga; married Hildae Monje Ramirez, four children. She is a Sunday School teacher; former stake missionary, Primary president, Relief Society president, institute teacher, seminary teacher, and Young Women president's counselor; attended Institute of Higher Learning-Saint Patrike; born in Piura, Peru, to Pedro Garcia and Santos Maza Monje Ramirez.
