The Church News has been asked by President Howard W. Hunter to extend his appreciation for the hundreds of cards and letters he has received wishing him well as a result of his recent hospitalization. In view of the many who have expressed their greetings, it is not feasible for him to respond personally.
President Hunter continues to rest comfortably in his apartment, receiving regular visits from his counselors and members of the Quorum of the Twelve.
