Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher exchanges greetings with President Gordon B. Hinckley. Lady Thatcher visited Utah March 1-8 for the UK/Utah Festival, a celebration of the cultural, business and educational ties between Utah and the United Kingdom. During the weeklong visit, Lady Thatcher received an honorary doctorate from BYU, attended the Tabernacle Choir's weekly broadcast of "Music and the Spoken Word" and was the guest of honor at a First Presidency luncheon.
