Good sportsmanship should be practiced by all those participating in Church activities, including spectators. Sportsmanship includes thoughtfulness and concern for others, self-control, humility, and fair play. Church sports programs should be focused on sportsmanship and wholesome participation for all members.

If necessary, presiding local priesthood leaders may impose restrictions on those individuals or teams who fail to practice good sportsmanship. When this is necessary, the restrictions should be appropriate to the severity of the infractions. Restrictions should be constructive and teach important lessons rather than merely punitive.- Instructions for Priesthood and Auxiliary
