Members of the First Presidency have asked the Church News to convey their appreciation for the many cards, letters and other Christmas greetings they have received from members of the Church.
President Gordon B. Hinckley and his counselors, President Thomas S. Monson and President James E. Faust, are unable to respond personally to the large number of Christmas messages they have received.Along with their expressions of appreciation for these greetings, they also extend to members and friends their warm wishes for the new year, and gratitude for their faith and prayers.
