Elder Joe J. Christensen of the Presidency of the Seventy

- Just as President James E. Faust was finishing his priesthood session address on honesty, the Tabernacle clocks began to behave erratically, with their minute-hands moving at the speed of a second-hand, as if in a scene from H.G. Wells' The Time Machine.

"President Faust, I wish you would tell the clocks in the Tabernacle to be honest," President Thomas S. Monson commented as he began his talk, bringing laughter to the conference congregation.

The Provo Missionary Training Center Men's Choir provided the music. "Look at them all, with their badges on and their faces washed, sitting there like angels in black armor," exclaimed President Gordon B. Hinckley, who conducted the session.

Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf of the Seventy gave the invocation and Elder Richard B. Wirthlin of the Seventy the benediction.
