The First Presidency has called a new mission president to serve with 450 full-time and 250 part-time missionaries in the Family History Department in Salt Lake City.
- David Gill Warner, 68, Parleys 1st Ward, Salt Lake Parleys Stake; member of Church Hosting Committee, Joseph Smith Memorial Building host; former mission president's counselor, high priests instructor, high councilor, bishop, Sunday School president and teacher, Young Men president and missionary in Northern States Mission; retired president and CEO of Associated Food Stores; received bachelor's degree in marketing from University of Utah; born in Salt Lake City to Homer C. and Grace Richards Warner; married Nedra Mortensen, seven children. She is a member of Church Hosting Committee, Joseph Smith Memorial Building hostess; former national president of Lambda Delta Sigma, Lambda Delta Sigma area adviser, Temple Square missionary, Relief Society counselor, Primary president, stake Primary president's counselor; received bachelor's degree in elementary education from University of Utah; born in Ogden, Utah, to Bertrand and Erma Oles Marler Mortensen.
