All those who help to plan and implement sports and recreation programs should ensure that all aspects of each program follow Church policies and procedures. . . .

Generally all team members should live within the boundaries of the team's stake and ward. The stake presidency must approve any exception.Nonmembers who agree to abide by Church standards and who live within the ward boundaries may be invited to participate in Church sports. In team sports, the majority of the players on the court or field should be either Church members or members of a family with at least one baptized member of the Church.
