Eleven new members of the Second Quorum of the Seventy were sustained Saturday, April 5, bringing the total of that quorum to 33.

Called were Elders Richard D. Allred, San Antonio, Texas; Eran A. Call, Provo, Utah; Richard E. Cook, Park City, Utah; Duane B. Gerrard, Kaysville, Utah; Wayne M. Hancock, Provo, Utah; J. Kent Jolley, Rexburg, Idaho; Richard J. Maynes, Oakley, Utah; Dale E. Miller, Humacao, Puerto Rico; Lynn G. Robbins, Montevideo, Uruguay; Donald L. Staheli, New Canaan, Conn., and Richard E. Turley Sr., Salt Lake City.Their biographies are as follows:

Richard D. Allred, 64, is retired as general manager of Kimball Armor Corp., and is former chief executive officer of Rios Golden Cut. He is a former president of the Guatemala City Temple, director of the Guatemala Missionary Training Center, mission president, regional representative, stake patriarch and bishop. He received a bachelor's degree from Utah State University and a master of business administration degree from the University of Arkansas. He and his wife, Gay Banner Allred, have three children (two living).

Eran A. Call, 67, is retired as CES director of Mexico and is a retired BYU faculty member, and is a former department store manager, and real estate and building developer. He is a former missionary training center director, mission president, stake patriarch, stake president's counselor and high councilor. He has a bachelor's degree from BYU and a master of business administration degree from New York University. He and his wife, Katherine Groesbeck Call, are parents of nine children.

Richard E. Cook, 66, is president of Martell Corp., and retired general assistant controller of Ford Motor Co., former general auditor and divisional controller of Ford Tractor Operations. He is a former mission president, stake president's counselor, bishop. He has a bachelor's degree from BYU and a master of business administration degree from Northwestern University. He and his wife, Mary Nielsen Cook, have four children.

Duane B. Gerrard, 58, is retired as a Delta Airlines pilot and is a former systems manager for flight safety for Delta Airlines and former chief pilot of Western Airlines. He is a former Area Authority, regional representative, stake president, high councilor and bishop. He attended Utah State University, University of Hawaii, and the University of Southern California. He and his wife, Kay Bennion Gerrard, are parents of eight children.

Wayne M. Hancock, 65, is president of the Utah Provo Mission. He is retired as vice president and general counsel of Dow Chemical Co., and was earlier vice president, general counsel of Dow Chemical Europe, and was a school teacher. He is a former mission president's counselor, stake president, stake president's counselor and high councilor. He has a bachelor's degree from BYU and a juris doctorate from the University of Arizona. He and his wife, Connie Ann Cameron Hancock, have eight children.

J. Kent Jolley, 63, is an attorney, a real estate developer and former county prosecuting attorney. He earned bachelor's and juris law degrees from George Washington University. He is a former mission president, stake president's counselor, stake mission president and high councilor. He and his wife, Jill Waldram Leishman Jolley, are parents of seven children.

Richard J. Maynes, 46, is chief executive officer and chairman of Fountain Fresh International Inc., and is a former president of Raymond Productions Systems Inc. He has served as a mission president, high councilor and bishop's counselor. He received a bachelor's degree from BYU and a master's degree from American Graduate School of International Management. He and his wife, Nancy Jane Purrington Maynes, have four children.

Dale E. Miller, 61, is a business adviser to new venture companies, was a co-founder of Zenger-Miller, was an executive with Syntex Corp. He is a former Area Authority, mission president, stake president, high councilor and Young Men president. He received a bachelor's degree from BYU and a master's degree from the University of Southern California. He and his wife, Laurel Chandler Miller, are parents of five children.

Lynn G. Robbins, 44, is president of the Uruguay Montevideo Mission. He is a former senior vice president and co-founder of Franklin Quest and was a consultant for Collier Heinz & Associates. He has served as a high councilor, bishop, bishop's counselor and ward executive secretary. He has a bachelor's degree from Utah State University and a master's degree from American Graduate School of International Management. He and his wife, Jan Nielson Robbins, have seven children.

Donald L. Staheli, 65, is chairman of Continental Grain Co., and just retired as its chief executive officer. He has been president and chief executive officer of Allied Mills Inc.; manager of Swift & Co.; chairman, National Committee for U.S.-China Relations; chairman of Points of Light Foundation. He is chairman of the National Advisory Council, Marriott School of Management at BYU and a director of four other corporations. He is a former stake president and counselor, high councilor and bishop's counselor. He received a bachelor's degree from Utah State University and a master's degree and doctorate from the University of Illinois. He and his wife, Afton Stratton Staheli, have four children.

Richard E. Turley Sr., 66, is a retired researcher at Battelle Memorial Institute, a former professor at Iowa State University and the University of Utah, and was Utah State science adviser and executive director of Utah Technology Finance Corp. He has served as a mission president, stake president's counselor, district president's counselor, high councilor, bishop and bishop's counselor. He and his wife, Betty Jean Nickle Turley, are parents of seven children.
