In the Young Men organization, the counselors to the president, Elder Jack H Goaslind, were changed during the Saturday afternoon session, Oct. 4.
Elder Robert K. Dellenbach was released as second counselor and sustained as first counselor, succeeding Elder F. David Stanley, who was released from the Second Quorum of the Seventy and recently called to serve as president of the Bountiful Temple. Elder F. Melvin Hammond was sustained as second counselor in the general presidency. The presidency are members of the Seventy.Elder Dellenbach was called to the Seventy in 1990. In addition to his assignment in the young men organization, he serves as first counselor in the Utah North Area. Elder Hammond was called to the Seventy in 1989. He also serves as first counselor in the North America Northwest Area presidency.
