Lynn Archibald, 52, former head basketball coach at the University of Utah and assistant basketball coachat BYU, died Wednesday, May 28.
Brother Archibald was a member of the Edgemont 7th Ward, Provo Utah Edgemont Stake.He joined the BYU basketball staff as an assistant coach in 1994 and was BYU's director of basketball operations at the time of his death. He was head coach at the University of Utah from 1983-1986 and, prior to that, was an assistant coach at Arizona State University, Southern California, Nevada-Las Vegas and Long Beach State and head coach at Idaho State University.
