President Gordon B. Hinckley is continuing the torrid pace he has kept since becoming president of the Church.
The prophet participated in BYU Women's Conference May 1, addressing more than 13,000 people during a fireside at the Marriott Center. The next day he spoke at Southern Utah University's Centennial Convocation in Cedar City, Utah. On May 3 he traveled to Wyoming, dedicating the Martin's Cove visitors center. Then on May 8 President and Sister Hinckley left on an eight-day trip to Australia and New Zealand. He is scheduled to meet in a regional conference in Hamilton, New Zealand, and member and missionary meetings in Auckland, New Zealand; and Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Sydney and Brisbane, Australia.
