Dean L Larsen, 65, has been called as president of the Dominican Republic Missionary Training Center. He currently is serving in the position. He was born in Mesa, Ariz., to Elwood Earl and Lorna Miller Larsen. He married Leona May Robinson, and they are the parents of nine children. They are members of the Farmington 3rd Ward, Farmington New Mexico Stake. Pres. Larsen is a former president of the Venezuela Caracas Mission, district mission president, high councilor, bishop, bishop's counselor, and missionary in Argentina. He is a retired teacher and coach in the Aztec Schools in New Mexico.
Sister Larsen was born in Richfield, Utah, to Attewall Bunting and Hazel Mae Roberts Robinson. She has served as Primary, Young Women and Relief Society president, and served with her husband in Venezuela.
