Eight more mission presidents have been called by the First Presidency. The mission presidents and their wives will begin their service about July 1. The new mission presidents and their assignments are:

- Lynn C. Brenchley, 51, Australia Melbourne West Mission; Providence 5th Ward, Providence Utah South Stake; member of Young Men presidency and priests quorum adviser; former counselor in stake presidency, high councilor, bishop and counselor, elders quorum president, and missionary in the Southern States Mission; executive vice president of ICON Health & Fitness; received bachelor's degree in accounting from Utah State University; born in Logan, Utah, to Preston H. and Alta Redford Cooper Brenchley; married Villa Bodrero, five children. She is Lambda Delta Sigma Sorority adviser at the Logan Utah Institute of Religion; former stake Primary president, ward Young Women and Primary president, Relief Society president and counselor, and teacher in Primary, Young Women and Sunday School; attended Utah State University; born in Logan, Utah, to Parley L. and Iona L. Bodrero.- David Kenneth Broadbent, 45, Chile Concepcion Mission; Holladay 14th Ward, Salt Lake Holladay South Stake; high councilor in the Salt Lake University 3rd Stake; former high councilor, stake Young Men president, bishop, ward Young Men president, priests quorum adviser, Sunday School teacher, and missionary in the Andes Peru Mission; attorney; received bachelor's degree in accounting and juris doctorate from the University of Utah; born in El Centro, Calif., to David Clay and Maude Bentley Broadbent; married Katherine Daynes, two children. She is secretary in the stake Primary presidency; former ward Relief Society president, counselor in Primary presidency, and Primary teacher; received bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Utah; born in Salt Lake City to Robert Frederick and Shari Wilcox Daynes.

- Samuel Castro C., 55, Mexico Merida Mission; Teocallis Ward, Mexico City Mexico Azteca Stake; counselor in mission presidency; former stake president, stake executive secretary, and bishop and counselor; sales manager; received basic management degree from Institute Nanors Intermedios; born in Mexico City to Samuel Castro A. and Elvira Sepulveda Camacho Castro; married Marisela Velasco, four children. She is a temple worker at the Mexico City Temple and counselor in ward Primary presidency; former ward Primary president and counselor, Relief Society president, counselor in Young Women presidency, and visiting teaching director; attended Instituto Nacional; born in Mexico City to Angel Velasco U. and Emma Urtegavazquez Velasco.

- Brian K. Kelly, 57, New Mexico Albuquerque Mission; Highland 14th Ward, Highland Utah Stake; member of ward Sunday School presidency and public affairs representative; former member of stake Sunday School presidency, stake missionary, high priests group leader, teachers quorum adviser and Varsity Scout leader, Primary and Sunday School teacher, high priests and elders quorum instructor, and missionary in New Zealand; director of curriculum planning and editorial for the Church; received bachelor's degree in communications from BYU, master's degrees in business from the University of Washington and in public administration from BYU; born in Salt Lake City to Kermit Walker and Wanda Thomas Kelly; married Petrea Gillespie, 10 children. She is a Relief Society teacher; former ward Relief Society and Primary president, Young Women secretary and adviser, nursery leader, Primary and Relief Society teacher, and missionary in the North British Mission; received bachelor's degree in English from BYU; born in Provo, Utah, to James Robert and Wilma Wiscombe Gillespie.

- Julio Arturo Leiva, 39, Peru Arequipa Mission; Piura Peru Miraflores Stake; former counselor to mission president, stake president and counselor, stake Sunday School president, bishop and counselor, and missionary in the Peru Lima South Mission; Church Educational System coordinator; received industrial engineering degree from National University-Trujillo; born in San Jose, Peru, to Arturo and Olga Petita Ponce Leiva; married Bertha Polo, four children. She is former stake Primary and Relief Society president, ward Young Women president, counselor in Relief Society presidency, and missionary in the Peru Arequipa Mission; attended Trujillo Institute; born in Paijan, Peru, to Manuel Mateo and Marcionila Rosas Polo.

- Merrill J Millett, 65, Florida Tallahassee Mission; Draper 2nd Ward, Sandy Utah Hidden Valley Stake; temple ordinance worker and ward temple preparation instructor; he is a patriarch and former missionary with his wife in the Georgia Atlanta Mission, counselor in stake presidency, bishop, and missionary in the Southern States Mission; former general manager and chief executive officer for Deseret Generation and Transmission Cooperative; received certificate of graduation from Pacific Coast School of Banking and attended Utah State University; born in Woodrow, Utah, to Archie Calvin and Mary Isabell Asay Millett; married Shirley Harston, eight children. She is a temple ordinance worker and ward Relief Society compassionate service leader; former missionary with her husband, stake data entry missionary, ward Relief Society president and counselor, and organist; attended Utah State University; born in Kimberly, Idaho, to Richard George and Anna Woodbury Harston.

- W. Douglas Shumway, 57, Bolivia Santa Cruz Mission; Eagar 2nd Ward, Eagar Arizona Stake; regional welfare agent; former counselor in stake presidency, stake mission president, stake Young Men president, bishop, Sunday School teacher, and missionary in Uruguay; self-employed with Whiting Bros. Investment Co.; received bachelor's degree in business management from BYU; born in St. Johns, Ariz., to Wilford Jennings and Mabel Whiting Shumway; married Dixie Jarvis, eight children. She is a counselor in the stake Relief Society presidency; former Relief Society and Young Women president, Laurel adviser, nursery leader, and Relief Society homemaking leader; received bachelor's degree in business education from BYU; born in St. Johns, Ariz., to Ruel Elmo and Vera Wilkins Jarvis.

- R. Kirk Wilson, 59, Ohio Cincinnati Mission; Burlington Ward, Mount Vernon Washington Stake; former regional representative, stake president, counselor in mission presidency, counselor to area public affairs director, stake executive secretary, bishop, and elders quorum president; chairman of the board of Brown and Cole Inc.; received bachelor's degree in business from the University of Washington; born in Burlington, Wash., to Dick and Mary Emma Wade Wilson; married Paula Loynd, six children. She is former stake Sunday School board member, Young Women president, Relief Society compassionate service leader, and seminary teacher; received associate degree from Skagit Valley Community College, bachelor's degree in psychology from Western Washington University, and attended BYU; born in Los Angeles, Calif., to Paul Gabbitas and Alice Belle Hudson Loynd.
