Included in the new Edmonton Alberta Temple District is the Grande Prairie Alberta Stake. The Aug. 15 Church News listed the unit as the Grande Prairie Alberta District. The stake, one of the most northerly stakes in Canada, was formed from the district last April.Bishop Steven E. Bullock of the Pioneer 25th Ward, Salt Lake Pioneer Stake, rather than Bishop Steven L. Bullock of the Highland (Utah) 15th Ward, as reported in the Aug. 15 Church News, was one of the speakers at the joint funeral service for five girls who died of heat stroke after they were accidentally locked in the trunk of a car.
